Here are the secrets of building strong teams.

In this article, you will learn the lessons from the De La Salle Spartans about teamwork and you will discover how you can apply them to your team. If you want to know more about it, read on.

Secret No. 1 – Camaraderie

The first secret is camaraderie.

There’s a scene at the end of the movie where a senior player was about to break a record by putting one touchdown and there were seconds remaining on the game clock. Pressure was all around him—his father, the crowd, and his teammates, but he stood tall and decided not to break the record.

Instead, he bent a knee on the ground. If you don’t know what taking a knee in football is, it’s used to run the clock down.  He did it to kill the time, to give the spotlight and to honor their coach, who led them to victories in the field and in real life.

In that scene, there were brothers watching the game in the bleachers. One was an alumnus while the other was his younger one. The younger brother asked his brother why the senior player didn’t break the record. His older brother replied, “It’s not about breaking records, it’s about the team.”

At the end credits of the film, you will find a short clip of one of the meetings of the team. Coach Bob said that if their lives in De La Salle were to be written in a book, the final chapter of their book should be called Brotherhood.

Records, championships, awards are just the result of having a strong camaraderie in your team.

In your network marketing team, develop camaraderie among members.

Secret No. 2 – Compassion

Without compassion, your team won’t last.  Engage your time with positivity and love.

Although this might sound cheesy but loving one another as brothers and sisters on your team is crucial to your team’s foundation.

Strengthen your love to one another by being compassionate. Share your love, be there whether your team needs you or not.

Just be around and share the compassion you have with each other. Trust one another.

Secret No. 3 – Commitment

There’s a scene in the movie when each member of the team reads to everyone the commitments of their team mates.

Shared commitments have a higher chance of them to happen. To whom do you best share your commitment? To the people you trust, to your team.

Individual commitments will bring big success to the team. They are like puzzle pieces of your team’s success.

Are you committed to your team?

Secret No. 4 – Compliment

Remember to give compliments to one another. It is important because everyone in your team wants to be praised. It will make them feel better, it will make them see their worth.
