See the Amount

The first step in setting your goals is to know exactly how much you want to earn in your network marketing business. You should define the specific amount that you desire.

Don’t just say, “I want more money.” Instead, say something like “I want one million dollars.” or “I want one hundred thousand dollars.” You decide on how much you really want to earn in network marketing.


Schedule the Deadline

The next thing that you need to do is set the deadline as to when you want to achieve it. Set the time frame.

A goal without a deadline is simply a wish. Deadlines help you see clearly what you want to accomplish. Setting a deadline adds pressure and pressure is good.

If the date that you chose doesn’t make you feel unpressured, then that date is not a good choice for a deadline. An effective deadline is something that will make you feel pressured and uncomfortable.

Set the Action Plan

Set the actions that you need to do in order to achieve the amount that you want in a certain period of time.

For beginners in network marketing, your action plan might include setting a one-on-one coaching with your upline or making 10 calls per day or attending all events.

Be specific. Specify the days of the week or the time of the day. Remember, the more specific your action plan is, the better it is for you.

There is no right or wrong in your action plan as long as you stick to it and you keep doing it. Be consistent. Your action plan will help you move forward.

Whatever happens, never let frustration get in the way. Shake them off! Keep your eyes on your goals. Keep your eyes on your target date. Keep your eyes on the things that you need to do.

Just keep moving forward. You will fail a lot of times during your first year in network marketing and it’s a good sign that you are doing something. Regardless of how many times you will fail, keep your eyes on your goals and keep moving forward.
