Do you love to write and do you want to make money out of it? Do you want to create an income source by sharing your thoughts or ideas? Do you want to earn through blogging?

In this article, you will discover the reason why you should blog while still being employed and why I highly encourage you to do so.

Do you need to become an expert before you start to blog? No. You don’t need to be one and when you blog, you will eventually become one. Here are the reasons why you should blog without quitting your day job.

1.  Do It Alongside with Your Job

Blogging can be done WITH your day job.  It will never be a conflict with your job unless you’re leaking confidential information about your job!

When you’re done with your shift for the day, you can use an hour (or more) to write your experience or to write whatever you want to write.

This is doable. You can do this!

Multi-tasking

2.  Create Passive Income

How do you generate income through blog? Three letters—ads.

Do not follow what I did when I was a newbie in blogging. I had wanted to generate a lot of money on my blog site so I clicked ads posted in it. The result? I was banned from posting ads from an ad network.

Never get tempted to do this. You may earn big at the moment, but you will sacrifice your future earnings.

You may be earning cents in the beginning but by being consistent in blogging will give you big rewards in the future.

3.  Channel to Share Your Knowledge

The essence of blogging is sharing what you know.

Share your experience of the day. Share your opinion on an issue. Share whatever you want to share that’s useful to your readers!

Personally, I recommend you primarily focus on this when you blog. When you share useful information, people will naturally flock to your blog site.

When people naturally flock your site, your earning potential is high.

4.  Establish Your Name as an Expert

When you share useful information, people will see you as somebody credible.

They will listen to what you will say, they will buy what you will recommend them to buy. They will do what you want them to do.

You may be an expert but if you overuse it, you will lose your readers. If you are given an opportunity to become an expert, I advise you NOT to abuse it.

5.  Meet New Like-Minded Friends

You will meet new people through your blog and most of them resonate with your articles.

The advantage? You will meet like-minded people who will become your friends when you establish a good relationship with them.

Talking with like-minded friends is really helpful for your blog because you can learn a lot from them. It’s really great to talk with someone of the same interests as you do, isn’t it?

In conclusion,

Blog is a perfect venue for you if you love to write and if you want to make money out of it.  Blogging can give you another potential source of income by sharing your thoughts, ideas or insights.

Blogging can still be done even if you are still an employee. It has no requirement whether you are an employee or not.

It’s the information age. It’s the perfect time for you to share who you are and what you know to the world.

Start blogging now.
